Watching sunlight filter through pine leaves
This is one of the most underrated experiences in Northern India. The pine leaves are very different than rest of the country, they almost disperse the light in a magical way. You will sense divinity while watching this.
Listen to Pahadi music
Garwali local music is super upbeat and unique. Dancing on it in any style is super fun.
Buy wollens from North
Wollens like socks, mittens, etc. are best bought from Northern states. They come is fantastic colours and designs, they keep you warmer than any other branded wollens and are super cheap.

Avoid maggie and hunt for Siddu
Most mall roads in all Northern States are super commercialised so you can skip them or not spend more than 60 mins
